LambC(램씨) EP [Green is the new Black]

‘사람은 각자 고유의 개성과 컬러를 지니고 있다. 세상이 만든 팔레트 안에서 놀아나지 않고 자신의 컬러를 마음껏 뽐냈으면 좋겠다. 그리고 나의 컬러이자 아이덴티티는 초록이다. 나의 초록은 외계적이거나 낯선 색이 아니며, 검은색과 같은 클래식 컬러가 될 수 있다고 믿는다. 누군가의 어떠한 색 또한 마찬가지이다.’라는 LambC(램씨)의 생각에서 이번 EP 프로젝트는 시작되었다.

1월 Part1 ‘Childish’의 공식 발매를 시작으로, 2월 Part2 ‘Four Seasons’, 3월 Part3 ‘사랑해줄래 (Treat You Right), 4월 Part4 ‘Boston’까지 공식 음원과 유튜브/사운드클라우드의 비공식 음원으로 매달 공개되었다. 이렇게 공개된 네 곡과 타이틀곡 ‘Fallin’’, 수록곡 ‘밀당 (Push and Pull)’이 더해진 프로젝트의 완성체, EP [Green is the new Black]이다. 커버 또한 Part1부터 Part4까지 네 개의 작은방이 합쳐져 포근한 ‘램씨네 집’을 이루었다. 그리고 그의 집 곳곳엔 사랑이 흘러넘친다. 1월부터 시작된 초록빛 사랑꾼의 여정은 비로소 5월에 이르러 검은색 마침표를 찍는다.

1. Childish
‘오글거린다’는 말이 생긴 후부터 우리는 표현하기를 부끄러워하는 것 같다. 사랑 앞에선 누구의 눈치도 볼 필요 없다. 유치하면 유치한대로, 있는 그대로 표현하자.

2. Fallin’

연인을 도구화하는 일부 사람들의 모습과 변질된 사랑의 의미가 안타까웠다. 그래서 ‘사랑 본연의 가치’를 캐주얼하게 표현해보았다.
